Synevo Laboratories are part of the Medicover family – a leading international provider of healthcare and diagnostic services. We are currently looking to hire a motivated professional for the position of Finance Controller.
You will report to the Finance Director. This role allows you to collaborate and interact with people across the Division.
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Reporting & Controlling
– Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with requirements
– Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal financial policies/ legal requirements
– Analyze financial performance and key performance indicators (KPIs)
– Provide variance analysis vs. budget, forecast, and prior periods
– Collaborate with local management/ teams to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency
– Manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles
– Support audit processes and liaise with internal auditors
– Support sustainability reporting
• Compliance & Risk Management
– Ensure compliance with local tax, accounting, and statutory regulations
– Act as contact for auditors, tax advisors, and local authorities
– Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and minimize risks
• Business Partnering
– Support the Finance Director with financial insights to drive performance, cost efficiency, and profitability
– Provide support with business cost simulations for various elements before projects’ launch and before MPR submission for CAPEX / OPEX approvals
– Partner with the SEE Finance team to deliver group-wide financial initiatives, systems rollouts, and process improvements
• Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
– Monitor liquidity, working capital, and cash flow positions
– Optimize capital allocation and support treasury-related activities
Необходими квалификации и качества
• Education:
– University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Experience:
– Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in finance, controlling, or accounting
– Solid understanding of IFRS and Bulgarian national accounting standards
– Proven experience in multinational companies
• Technical Skills:
– Strong knowledge of financial reporting systems
– Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
• Language Skills:
– Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
• Soft Skills:
– Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
– Excellent communication and stakeholder management
– High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
