Senior Accountant

Synevo is the provider of choice for diagnostic services in Bulgaria, offering more than 1,500 routine and advanced tests across all major clinical pathology areas. In 2023 Synevo Bulgaria operates a national network of 11 clinical laboratories and 70 blood drawing points, performing more than 1 million tests yearly.

In connection with the expansion of its activity, Synevo Bulgaria seeks to appoint a motivated professional for the position of Senior Accountant.

• The Senior accountant will be responsible for the full cycle of accounting processes for the company in compliance with the accounting regulations, Bulgarian legislation, the IFRS standards and the accounting policy of the company.
• Manage and support in daily tasks the accounting team, review all transactions are registered correctly.
• Preparation of monthly VAT declarations, providing reports to local authorities (NRA, NSI, BNB) and other.
• Responsible for the monthly and year-end closing process and the annual corporate income tax submission.
• Fixed asset administration and inventory.
• Participate in internal and external audits.
• Communication with clients and suppliers.
• Bank payments.
• Develop and implement accounting procedures to improve efficiency and compliance when needed.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Active participation in the transfer period from external to internal accounting.
