Support Technician – Specialized Information System

Synevo Laboratories are part of the Medicover family – leading international healthcare and diagnostic services provider in Europe. Medicover provides diagnostic services in Germany, Poland, Romania, Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova, Serbia and Bulgaria.

We are expanding our operations in Bulgaria and we are looking for a bright and talented individual for the position of Support Technician – specialized information system, based in Sofia.

The new member of the team will be responsible for providing daily support for the company’s employees in the performance of their duties by providing technical guidance and assistance regarding Laboratory Information System (LIS) and IT system, as well as:

∙ Extracting and inputting data in LIS;
∙ Resolving and investigating various cases, related to LIS;
∙ Quick and adequate responding in emergency situations;
∙ Present technical information to technically unfamiliar employees;
∙ Work collaboratively with software development team to support and improve our Laboratory Information System;
∙ Troubleshoot issues while working simultaneously with multiple tasks;
∙ Supporting and responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests the installation and configuration of new hardware and software and staff training for its use;
∙ Localizing computer problems and coordinating hardware and / or software solutions ( Backup for IT Admin);
∙Basic experience in physical network connections and cables, switches, network topology. TCP/IP
∙ Computer peripherals connecting – printers, barcode printers, cash registers etc., cabling, settings.

∙ Suggest solutions and work on them to improve the existing applications and services;
∙ Actively participates in the processes of testing and studying new functionalities of LIS.
